Dr. Ashley Fernandez is a proud United States Air Force Veteran and the founder of Fusion Health and Wellness in Dade City, Florida. Her journey toward healthcare began long before entering clinical practice, shaped by years of service, perseverance, and a steadfast desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Dr. Fernandez acquired a BS in both biology and alternative medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Magna Cum Laude, respectively. She then achieved her Doctor of Chiropractor degree at the National University of Health Science. She then joined the military in an effort to help serve her country. After completing her military service, Dr. Fernandez transitioned into corporate America, where she advanced through the professional ranks. Despite her success, she felt a strong calling to return to her true passion of helping people achieve healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Dr. Fernandez’s dedication to healthcare stems from her personal health challenges. Having lived with misdiagnosed Celiac disease for much of her life, she understands firsthand the frustration and emotional toll that accompany chronic illness and unanswered medical questions. This experience motivated her to pursue a career focused on providing accurate diagnoses, compassionate care, and empowerment through knowledge and healing.
Since entering practice, Dr. Fernandez has been committed to delivering holistic, patient-centered care that integrates chiropractic principles with functional medicine to identify and address the root causes of health concerns. She is dedicated to improving her expertise and skill set, acquiring a board certification in dry needling as well as becoming certified in both cranial facial release (CFR) as well as shockwave therapy.
At Fusion Health and Wellness, Dr. Fernandez is devoted to guiding each patient on a journey toward lifelong wellness through education, prevention, and personalized treatment. Her mission is to help individuals reclaim their health, restore balance, and thrive in every aspect of life.
